The Dallas Cowboys took the field for their first official practice of the 2026 season. Training camp is officially underway, and though the first week is typically slower paced to reacclimate everyone to football activities, it’s joyous to see the players back in their preferred element.
For the fanbase, this is the first real look at first-round picks Caleb Downs and Malachi Lawrence, along with the rest of the 2026 draft class, while seeing them side by side with the free agent class led by safety Jalen Thompson. Of course, the veterans are going to lead the way and that includes 33-year old QB Dak Prescott, who is celebrating his birthday on Wednesday.
Here’s a trip through some early video of the players entrance to the field in Oxnard, CA, along with some stretching exercises. It won’t be long before the team is going full bore in preparation for September’s regular season.
