Cebert joined the Red Raiders for his final season of eligibility and earned second-team All-Big 12 honors. The 6-foot-3 righty compiled a 7-3 record with a 3.45 ERA in 19 appearances, including two starts. He became the first Red Raider relief pitcher to earn seven wins since at least 2017.

His seven wins on the season led the team and four of his relief appearances went at least five innings.

Cebert spent the first three years of his career at South Florida, where he went 11-12 in 46 appearances with 26 starts, striking out 129 batters in 151⅓ innings.
