El Paso County Sheriff's Office asks for help finding man in missing persons case

An El Paso area family is concerned for a 45-year-old man who has been missing for more than a week, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said.

David Luciano Gutierrez, also known by the nicknames “Butter” or “Mantequilla,” was last seen in the afternoon of Sept. 7 and was still missing as of Thursday, Sept. 18, sheriff’s spokeswoman Priscilla I. Contreras said in an email.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating Gutierrez.

Gutierrez was last seen about 12:45 p.m. on Sept. 7 and may be driving a black, four-door GMC pickup truck with Texas license plate VFC1239, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news statement.

Gutierrez is 6 feet tall, 190 pounds with brown eyes, dark brown buzz-cut hair and a soul patch. He has “Gutierrez” with a cross tattooed on his chest and “Ariana” on his left hand. He was wearing a black polo shirt, blue jeans and black or blue Converse shoes.

Gutierrez’s last registered address is on Lake Tillery Road in the Lakeway area along Horizon Boulevard, east of Horizon City.

Anyone with information regarding the location of Gutierrez may call the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office at 915-832-4408.
