Investigators found that a 2004 Honda VTX1300C driven by Katherine Penn, 64, was traveling south on Rush Creek Road when she “failed to negotiate a turn” and traveled off of the right side of the roadway, the Patrol said. Penn struck a fence and was ejected from her motorcycle when it overturned.

Penn was pronounced dead at the scene, the Patrol said.

The Patrol is investigating the crash.
