We’re just a couple of weeks away from the start of the Ohio State football season, but there’s some work going on over at the practice gym for the OSU basketball team as well as it prepares for its season in a few months.
And while there’s plenty of offseason news to keep track of with the hoops team, what we’re really interested in is when the schedule gets finalized. We’ve known the Big Ten opponents home and away, just not the dates yet, and that was in addition to getting announcements on a lot of the nonconference opponents and schedule.
Last week, the Ohio State basketball program dropped the entire finalized nonconference schedule, and we thought we’d share it with you so that you can look through it and plan accordingly. OSU has exhibition games against Cincinnati and Butler, and then opens up the season out in Salt Lake City against BYU. The Buckeyes continue a challenging nonconference slate with games at UConn and Notre Dame, and also host Vanderbilt at the Schott while taking on Kansas in the CBS Sports Classic.

We are still awaiting the finalization of the dates and times for the Big Ten schedule, and as soon as it is announced, we’ll bring that to you as well.
