Where and when is the party?

The festivities run 2-8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23 at Lincoln Park, 879 N. Prospect St. Organizers ask community members to stop by the food ticket tent near the south entrance of the park to receive food and dessert tickets. Tickets are one per person.

How much does it cost?

The party is entirely free to the community including all food while supplies last, entertainment and swimming at the Aquatic Center.

What kind of food will there be?

The event features BBQ pork sandwiches, chips, water, cookies and a couple dessert food trucks. There will be enough food and desserts to feed up to 5,000 people. Food and drinks will be available while supplies last.

Throughout the event there will be live music from performers both local and non-local. Performers include Marion Harding Band, Quentin Veach, Gabriel Rosvanis, Uprising, String Therapy and JiMiller Band.

Where do I park?

There will be parking available next to the baseball fields at Lincoln Park and at the Aquatic Center. There will be additional parking at the Marion County Farigrounds. Those who park at the fairgrounds can use one of the three Love Your City buses to be shuttled to the park.
