The fire department said the tree fell because rainfall during the past week had saturated the ground, according to NBC4.

News station 10TV reported that Zanesville police identified the man as 20-year-old Kieler Roush.

The Zanesville Fire Department and Zanesville police did not immediately respond to a call from The Dispatch seeking information.
