COSHOCTON − A juvenile injured in a motorcycle crash was flown by Cleveland Metro to Summa Health System-Akron and may have suffered life-threatening injuries, according to an announcement from the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to an injury crash around 3:13 p.m. Oct. 8 in the 45000 block of County Road 19.
They determined a juvenile was traveling eastbound and popped a wheelie on a Honda motorcycle before entering a slight curve in the road, per the announcement. The driver lost control and was ejected over the handlebars.
The motorcycle came to rest on the road and the driver was several feet from the bike in a gravel lot off the north side of the road.
The juvenile’s condition is unknown.
