CAMBRIDGE − A Kimbolton man arrested during a July raid received a sentence of 12 years in Guernsey County Common Pleas Court.
Corey Harris, 35, formerly of Coshocton, pleaded guilty to a bill of information to five felony charges on Oct. 9, according to court documents. They were two counts of trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, second and fifth-degree felonies; two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, second and fourth-degree felonies; and having weapons under disability, a third-degree felony.
Harris is a member of the Konvicted Gang, according to an announcement from the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office. It is a prison gang known for drug trafficking.
The sheriff’s office and CODE led the investigation after learning Harris was allegedly selling drugs from a camper on Boone Road in Kimbolton. The Cambridge Police Department and the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the raid.
Law enforcement seized approximately 150 grams of methamphetamine and nearly 200 grams of fentanyl while searching the camper and surrounding property. They also recovered a firearm Harris discarded into a wooded area after reviewing drone footage.
Harris was taken into custody without incident.
