BEREA — On the seventh day of training camp, the Browns got another morning practice. They’ll also be looking at an off day the day after.
Cleveland closed out the latest three-day block of training camp practices on July 30 with its second fully-padded practice. It was also the second 9:30 a.m. practice of camp to date.
NFL teams aren’t permitted to do three consecutive practices in pads, so the Browns went back to shells on July 29. They had put the pads on for the first time in training camp on July 28.
The Browns are scheduled for their second day off of camp on July 31. They’ll come back with a 2 p.m. practice on Aug. 1, then another 9:30 a.m. workout Aug. 2 before taking Aug. 3 off.
Next week will feature the final practice of camp open to the fans on Aug. 4. The Browns will fly to Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 5 in advance of a joint practice with the Carolina Panthers on Aug. 6 and the preseason opener on Aug. 8.
