At 9:02 a.m., the tournament announced that gates would open on Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 10 a.m. due to inclement weather, rather than at 9:30 a.m. as scheduled. Play is scheduled to begin at 11, with day two of the qualifying rounds taking place.

On Wednesday morning, the National Weather Service issued a flood warning for Warren County that is expected to last until 11.

Qualifying play was disrupted on Tuesday as well, with the opening matches first being pushed back from 10:30 a.m. to after noon, and then play being paused at around 3:30 p.m. due to another bout of rain. Eight matches originally scheduled for Tuesday were postponed to Wednesday.
