Body of man found in Tuscarawas River has been identified

The body of a man found in the Tuscarawas River on June 22 has been identified as Jacob Holbrook, according to a release from the Tuscarawas County Coroner’s Office.

Holbrook, 29, was homeless according to the release. His body was found beneath the South Broadway Bridge. The cause of death is pending as the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office will perform an autopsy.
