Buffalo Bills star running back James Cook approaches next season as the reigning NFL rushing yards leader and has the chance to win back-to-back rushing titles in 2026.
At the time of this article’s publishing, BetMGM Sportsbook has given Cook -110 odds to record over 1,250.5 rushing yards next season.
Cook recorded 1,621 rushing yards last season and 12 scores. The Bills have a stronger receiving corp for next season with the arrival of DJ Moore in town, but Buffalo loves to run the ball with Cook and superstar quarterback Josh Allen. Cook’s touches figure to remain intact for next season, making him liable to play at a standard-setting pace once again in 2026.
In addition, Cook will be expected to contribute in the passing game again as well. Over in career, Cook has made 130 receptions, including 33 catches for 291 yards and two more touchdowns.
The Miami native has also rushed for 1,000 yards in each of the last three seasons. He has a body of work that proves that he will have another season of note in the rushing yards department in 2026.
Bills Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the 2026 NFL season.
