Trader Joe’s is adding a new color to its popular line of reusable insulated shopping bags.
The grocery chain announced the release of a lime green insulated bag, available for a limited time from August through October. The bag joins Trader Joe’s existing lineup of colorful insulated bags, which includes red, orange, yellow, green, teal blue, purple and lavender.
The reusable bag, priced at $8.99, is designed to help shoppers keep groceries cold during the trip home. Trader Joe’s said the insulated bag features padded interiors, a zippered lid and reinforced shoulder straps. The bag can hold about eight gallons of groceries, including frozen foods, dairy products and fresh produce.
The company said the bag also includes an interior pocket for storing keys, money or other small items. Beyond grocery shopping, Trader Joe’s suggests using the bag to transport food and drinks to picnics, pool parties and other summer gatherings.
The limited-edition lime green insulated bags are expected to be available at Trader Joe’s stores, including locations in New York, while supplies last.
