The New York Giants followed up a dominant joint practice with an equally one-sided performance on Saturday, rolling to a 26-3 preseason victory over the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium.
New York controlled both lines of scrimmage and all three phases in a complete team effort. With a number of starting-caliber players held out of the early action, the snaps were distributed widely across the roster, as is typical in the preseason. Depth players and younger contributors saw extended opportunities while the Giants maintained their physical edge throughout.
Here’s a look at the snap counts from New York’s decisive win in Miami.

Rookie offensive lineman J.C. Davis logged a full game on Saturday, giving the coaching staff an extended look at what he brings to the table. The good news? Davis was solid against the Dolphins and is likely locking in a spot on the 53-man roster.
Most other projected starters or rotational pieces were held out of the game or saw very limited action, except for defensive tackle Darius Alexander, who had a 58 percent snap share. Linebacker Micah McFadden and cornerback Paulson Adebo also had a notable 56 percent snap share.
In 16 snaps, cornerback Deonte Banks impressed.
