The Buffalo Bills finished second in the AFC East division title race in 2025 with a 12-5 record. That snapped a five-year streak of winning the division.
However, with a new season approaching, will they turn the tables and win the division in 2026?
BetMGM thinks so.
The sportsbook has given the Bills the highest odds to win the AFC East next season at -150.
The New England Patriots were given the second-highest number at +145. The Patriots won the AFC East crown in 2025 with a 14-3 record.
Behind them, the New York Jets (+2000) and Miami Dolphins (+3500) were given the third and fourth-highest odds to come out on top in the division race next season, respectively.
New England benefitted from having an easy strength of schedule in 2025. That played a role in them winning 10 straight games midway through the year. According to NFL.com, the Patriots have the fifth-hardest strength of schedule for next season, with an opponent win percentage of 53.1 percent from the 2025 season, which gives the Bills a greater chance to best them in the standings.
Buffalo will also be faced with a difficult slate in 2026, as they have the seventh-toughest strength of schedule, with an opponent win percentage of 52.8 percent.
Nevertheless, former AP MVP Josh Allen, NFL rushing yards leader James Cook and Bradley Chubb will be looked at to lead the Bills on a potential run to the Super Bowl next season. Buffalo’s top-heavy talent assortment gives the team a strong chance to win the AFC East division next season.
