The All-Greater Rochester Girls Basketball Team was selected by coaches with input from Democrat and Chronicle and Daily Messenger Post sportswriters.
Ajaya (AJ) Orr, Player of the Year
School: Aquinas
Year: Senior
Parent: Carol Robinson
Position: Guard
Key accomplishment: Winning sectionals for the third consecutive year in a different classification.
Future plans: I plan to attend Daemen University in Buffalo.
Why AJ Orr is the Player of the Year: Orr might be the most explosive player in Section V. Just ask Aquinas coach Mark Loria, who has frequently called the senior guard the most athletic player, male or female, that he’s ever coached.
Orr capped off a stellar varsity career in 2025-26 by leading Aquinas to its third consecutive section title and second straight New York state final. She is a two-time section tournament most valuable player, earning the nod after Aquinas’ Class AA win in 2025, then again this season in Class AAA.
In the Lil Irish’s section final against Fairport, Orr totaled a team-high 30 points, which included a pivotal field goal in the final seconds that effectively clinched the 59-52 win.
A more-than-capable scorer, especially when driving the basket, Orr’s athleticism really pops on the defensive end. Combining quickness and tenacity, Orr frequently forces opposing ball-handlers into turnovers that turn into easy points for the Lil Irish.

Coaches of the Year
Webster Schroeder staff
Staff members: Head coach Codi Mrozek; assistant coaches Kevin Willmott, Meaghan Keil, Jim Dellavilla, CJ Battaglia, Andrew Mason
While All-Greater Rochester typically recognizes an individual coach, this was a unique season. Section V coaches voted for the Webster Schroeder staff, after the Warriors won 23 consecutive games, captured the Class AA-1 section title and reached the NYSPHSAA quarterfinals. The team achieved this despite head coach Codi Mrozek missing a portion of the season due to a personal matter. Schroeder carried on, with Mrozek’s staff members taking on greater roles, to record one of the most successful seasons in program history.
