CANANDAIGUA — The city of Canandaigua hosted its first National Night Out and combined it with its popular Touch a Truck event, drawing many kids and their parents to Canandaigua Lake.
The free event was held Tuesday afternoon and into the early evening at Kershaw Park.
In addition to being able to see and touch rescue vehicles, police cars and heavy equipment used for public works projects, community members met the first responders, local law enforcement officers and community agencies that serve the residents of the city and help keep them safe.
Raffles, games, food trucks and other activities also entertained visitors.
