Army football to host games twice in September, October and November

Army football will allow fans to choose their fall comfort level, featuring two September, two October and two November home games in 2026.

The Black Knights will put the renovated Michie Stadium East stands on display on Sept. 5 against Bryant and Sept. 12 vs. South Florida. Following an open date and two road games, Michie will host Tulane on Oct. 10 and Florida Atlantic on Oct. 17. Again, two road games follow before Air Force visits on Nov. 7 and East Carolina on Nov. 21. It should be noted there is no open week ahead of the Air Force game.

There is just one non-Saturday play date in 2026 when Tulsa hosts Army on Friday, Oct. 23. There are open dates on Sat., Sept. 19 and Sat. Nov. 14.

The road slate has Temple on Sept. 26; Louisiana Tech on Oct. 3; Tulsa on Oct. 23; Memphis on Oct. 31; and, Rice on Nov. 28. The Army-Navy Game will be held on Saturday, Dec. 12, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., starting shortly after 3 p.m.

This season, Army will not face American Conference members North Texas, Texas San Antonio, Alabama Birmingham and Charlotte.

This will be the third season of action in the American. Army was 12-2 overall and 8-0 in the American in 2024. Last season, Army was 7-6 and 4-4 in the American.

In late May, the American Conference will update the start times and TV networks for non-Saturday games, and all games in the first three weeks of the schedule. The remainder of the schedules are generally determined either six or 12 days ahead of time, with Army’s road games at Temple, Memphis and Rice announced 12 days in advance.

Army will also announce its home-game start times in late May in conjunction with broadcast partner CBS Sports Network (West Point has a contract through 2028). Though not announced, it’s a good bet the Air Force game will air on CBS, and most home games will start at noon on CBSSN. ESPN owns the American TV rights for the road contests, placing games on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN Plus and ABC.
