As a master commissioner for Delaware Circuit courts, Hollems has “presided over hundreds of cases, ensuring timely justice for all involved,” according to a news release.

The release said Hollems is “known for the respect and patience he pays to all who appear before him.”“Since I have been appointed master commissioner, I have always served in Circuit Court 5,” Hollems said. “I have immense respect for Judge Cannon and the way he runs his court. I believe there is no one more ready to step into Judge Cannon’s shoes than me.”

Before becoming master commissioner, Hollems served as an attorney for the Indiana Department of Child Services for more than 10 years. He has been an attorney for nearly 30 years.

He is a 1997 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School and graduated from the Indiana Judicial College in 2021.

Hollems and his wife have been residents of Muncie since 2003, raising their two children in this community.
