TORONTO — The Indiana Fever survived a late scare from the Toronto Tempo on Tuesday night, taking down the Tempo 101-95 at Scotiabank Arena.
Kelsey Mitchell led the Fever with 29 points in three quarters, but she went back to the locker room with an unspecified injury and never returned to the bench. Caitlin Clark had 22 points and seven assists, while Aliyah Boston had 16 points and six rebounds.

This is a game Indiana (24-12) was heavily favored to win against a Tempo (10-24) team that has lost 11 straight. And the Fever delivered for their fifth win in a row. The attention, however, turns to Mitchell and her health for the rest of the road trip and beyond. Mitchell has been such an integral part of the Fever’s offense this season, and her 24.2 points per game would be hard to make up.
