If you’re looking to make dinner plans on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, but not the kind that involve putting together a massive spread in your own home, you’re in luck. Several Indianapolis-area restaurants are open on both days, and plenty still have open reservations. Whether you’re craving stir fry or sirloin, here are more than 15 spots around town where you can dine this Christmas.
Asian Harbor

203 W. Michigan St., (317) 686-8888, asianharborind.com. Open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
This downtown fusion spot will maintain its normal hours Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, serving a variety of Chinese and Japanese dishes including dumplings, sushi, stir fries and hibachi dinners.
Buca di Beppo

This Italian-American chain’s Indianapolis-area locations are still accepting Christmas Eve and Day reservations. Del Frisco’s Double Eagle

Through Dec. 31, Del Frisco’s downtown will offer a special four-person holiday dinner for those looking to splurge. The high-end holiday meal includes a 40-ounce bone-in ribeye with a side of sweet potato casserole. The regular steakhouse menu will also be available. Eddie Merlot’s

The Fort Wayne-based steakhouse will offer a special holiday menu that includes wagyu meatballs ($20), braised short rib ($59) and elk chops ($59), plus the option of a two-person surf and turf offering with a bottle of red wine for $199. Fogo de Chao

The Brazilian churrascaria chain will serve its standard menu Christmas Eve and Day. Meat-forward entrées range from $37 to $56, while Fogo de Chao’s comprehensive “churrasco experience” costs $65 per person and includes tableside service of various fire-roasted meats. McCormick and Schmick’s

McCormick and Schmick’s will offer a two-course holiday menu Christmas Eve and Christmas Day that includes one starter and your choice of entrée from crab- and shrimp-stuffed salmon, steak au poivre, seafood pasta, a six-ounce center-cut filet mignon, a cider-glazed pork chop and swordfish. The Oceanaire Seafood Room

This downtown high-end seafood eatery will offer its standard menu both Christmas Eve and Day. Reservations can be made over the phone or on the restaurant website’s home page.
Prime 47 Carmel

Prime 47’s Clay Terrace location will serve its typical steakhouse fare Christmas Eve, but will be closed Christmas Day. Reservations can be made over the phone or on the restaurant’s website.
Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse

The New Orleans-based steakhouse will offer its traditional steakhouse fare both Christmas Eve and Day. Reservations can be made over the phone or on the restaurant’s website.
Santorini Greek Kitchen holiday buffet at the Biltwell Event Center
950 S. White River Parkway Drive W., (317) 916-6000, from 4-8 p.m. Christmas Eve
From 4-8 p.m. Christmas Eve, Santorini Greek Kitchen Catering will serve a holiday buffet at the Biltwell Event Center downtown. The expansive buffet will feature a selection of traditional Mediterranean dishes like Greek salad, spanakopita, gyros, souvlaki, moussaka, baklava and more. Adults ages 21-64 dine for $50, adults 65 and older for $30, individuals 13-20 for $35 and children 6-12 for $20. Alcohol and other beverages will be available for additional purchase. Serliana

This rooftop restaurant at downtown’s InterContinental Hotel will maintain its standard hours and typical upscale menu with dishes like shrimp and grits ($28) and prime ribeye (14 ounces, $68), plus high-end sandwiches ($18 to $22) and salads ($9 to $16) for lunch.
Sullivan’s Steakhouse

Through Jan. 5, Sullivan’s will serve a special holiday menu that includes roasted beet and spinach salad ($15), steak and seafood entrees ($49 to $74) and lobster risotto ($23) as well as a variety of wines available by the glass or bottle. Ten Cuts Brazilian Steakhouse

This Greenwood eatery will offer its full lineup of carved meats, including an all-you-can-eat experience with assorted steak, chicken and sausage that costs $40 at lunch and $57 at dinner.
Terra Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse

This churrascaria at Keystone at the Crossing will be open both Christmas Eve and Day, serving its full meat-loaded menu. Tomo Japanese Steakhouse

Guests at this northside eatery Christmas Eve and Christmas Day can order from a large selection of Indonesian dishes like nasi goreng (fried rice), bakmi jawa (Javanese noodles), beef rendang (braised beef in spices) and more, plus a handful of Japanese fusion dishes.
