The first matches and invites of the 2026 Indiana high school girls golf season started on Monday. To celebrate, we’ve compiled the top seniors to watch in Central Indiana.
Players are listed in alphabetical order by last name. This list was compiled with input from local coaches.
Jane Armington, Lapel
Armington shot an 82 for a Lapel team that placed third at the Noblesville sectional last season. The Bulldogs also won bronze at Edgewood Golf Course during regionals, where Armington scored a 77. She placed 22nd at state.
Kate Brown, Westfield
Brown is a part of a group returning six of the team’s top eight players from 2025. As a sophomore, she tied for fifth at sectionals with a 76 before she shot a 90 at regionals. The Shamrocks secured the sectional and regional team titles that year. Brown tied for 64th at state in 2024.
Josie Campbell, Brownsburg
Campbell is a leader for the Bulldogs’ varsity golf and tennis team. She shot a 79 for a Brownsburg team that finished second as a team at their home sectional. She shot an 84 at the Lafayette regional.
Maya Cieply, Hamilton Southeastern
Cieply helped HSE win the team title at the Noblesville sectional last season. She shot a 78, which ranked top five in the individual race. The Royals placed second as a team at the Edgewood regional with Cieply shooting an 81. She placed 59th at the state meet.
Lauren Deering, New Palestine
Deering qualified for state with a playoff win at regionals last season. She advanced as an individual with a score of 75. She tied for 15th with a two-day score of 155 at the state meet. At the start of the postseason, she led New Palestine to a team title at its home sectional. She placed second individually with a score of 73.
Annabelle Hacker, Plainfield
Hacker shot a 68 and tied for third individually at the Brownsburg sectional last season. The Quakers placed third in the team race with Hacker leading the way. She went on to shoot a 78 at the Lafayette regional.
Paige Henney, Zionsville
Henney, who was a member of the Eagles’ 2024 title team, helped Zionsville repeat as state champion last season. She tied for 24th at state with a two-day score of 159 last season. She shot a 73 at sectionals and a 76 at regionals. The Eagles completed the postseason sweep in the team race.
Zoe Land, Center Grove
Land was the only Center Grove girls golfer to qualify for state last season. She shot a fifth-place score of 81 at sectionals last season before she scored a 79 at regionals. She tied for 51st at state as a junior.
Ally Lewis, Western Boone
Lewis clinched the sectional title at Harrison Hills Golf Club last season. She fired a 74 to win gold. She qualified for state as an individual by shooting a 77 at the Lafayette regional. She tied for 26th at the state meet with a score of 160.
Annabelle Marshall, Lapel
Marshall shot a team-high 79 at the Noblesville sectional, which ranked in the top 10 in the individual race. She improved at the Edgewood regional with a 75. She tied for 55th at the state meet.
Kate Murphy, Noblesville
As a junior, Murphy earned an opportunity to play in the postseason but she was sidelined due to a car accident on her way to sectionals. Now on a redemption tour, she is expected to be a top player for Noblesville this season.
Sophie Raines, Westfield
Raines helped Westfield place second as a team at state last season. Individually, she placed 36th with a two-day score of 163. She shot a 76 at sectionals for the Shamrocks, who placed second as a team. Her score ranked top 10 in the individual race. She also shot a 79 at regionals where the Shamrocks clinched third place and qualified for state as a team.
Sophie Roberts, HSE
Roberts fired a 68 to become a regional champion at the Edgewood Golf Course last season. With a score of 75, she placed fourth individually at the Noblesville sectional and helped the Royals take home the team title. She tied for 44th at state.
Isabella Stanley, HSE
Stanley posted an 80 at the Noblesville sectional where the Royals clinched the team title last season. She shot an 82 at the Edgewood regional and helped second-place HSE qualify for state as a team. She placed 23rd on the big stage.
