INDIANAPOLIS — One last time this season. The Indiana high school basketball season concludes with Saturday’s IHSAA state finals.

Class 4A state championship: Crown Point 25, Mt. Vernon 20, 2Q

The Cathedral Irish defeated the New Haven Bulldogs 71-61 in today’s 3A state championship.

The Mental Attitude Award was given to DaMarcus Wright of New Haven, as selected by the IHSAA executive committee. Wright finished with 6 points and pair of assists.

Julien Smith led the way for the Irish with 21 points and nine rebounds. Keaton Aldridge added 17 points and 11 rebounds. For the Bulldogs, Tarvar Baskerville finished with 20 and Jadrien Ezell added 15 off the bench.

Class 2A state championship: Parke Heritage 57, Westview 56, F

The Parke Heritage Wolves outlasted the Westview Warriors, winning 57-56 for their first state championship in school history.

Kaden Grau of Westview was awarded the Mental Attitude Award upon the conclusion of the game, he was selected by the IHSAA executive committee.

Treigh Schelsky finished with 17 points and five assists today for the Wolves, while Brendan Goins added 17 of his own while going perfect from long-range. Kaden Grau led the way for Westview with 14 points and seven boards.

The Barr-Reeve Vikings defeated the Triton Trojans by a score of 50-37 for their third state championship since 2015.

Korben Boyd of Barr-Reeve was awarded the Mental Attitude Award upon the conclusion of the game, he was selected by the IHSAA executive committee. Boyd scored 11 points on just 16 minutes.

Josh Miller led the way for the Vikings with 13 points and nine rebounds, and Jaylon Graber added 11 points to go with four assists. For the Trojans, Julian Swanson led the way with 16 points, and Jayden Overmyer added 10.
