It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without football. Several NFL teams will take the field on the holiday.
But for those who aren’t interested in sports, there’s more: The halftime show. Here’s who’ll perform this year.
What NFL teams play on Thanksgiving?
On-field matchups kick off with the annual Detroit Lions game at Ford Field against the Green Bay Packers. It continues with the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Dallas Cowboys before the Cincinnati Bengals compete against the Baltimore Ravens on the road.
Who’s playing at halftime for Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions?
Jack White is headlining the halftime show in Detroit on Thanksgiving. The Detroit-born artist was recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction with the White Stripes.
Eminem and his longtime manager, Paul Rosenberg, are set to be executive producers of the halftime show.
Who’s playing at halftime for Kansas City Chiefs at Dallas Cowboys?
Post Malone is set to be the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving halftime show performer.
The music star will not only perform in front of a big audience, but he will also get the chance to cheer on his favorite football team, the Cowboys. It is also the event that launches The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign.
“I’m from Texas,” Post Malone said in a statement, via the Cowboys’ official site. “I grew up a Cowboys fan and have been watching this halftime show for years. It’s a real honor to be part of the Red Kettle Kickoff with The Salvation Army and the Dallas Cowboys and help bring hope to so many people.”
Who’s playing at halftime for Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens?
Lil Jon will perform the final halftime show for the NFL’s Thanksgiving slate in 2025 – taking the stage in Baltimore during the Ravens-Bengals intermission.
The rapper and producer is just the latest individual expected to shake up the holiday nightcap as both star quarterbacks could be back in action. Lamar Jackson, who played for the University of Louisville, already made his return for the Ravens, but Joe Burrow is back at practice and is hoping to be back in the lineup on Thanksgiving.
