The site of the former Sky Harbor Steak House is currently on the market, with a $475,000 price tag being placed on the locale being dubbed a “blank canvas” for a prospective owner.
The former restaurant site at 1321 North Park Road across from Laura Bradley Park was put on the market on March 6 for $475,000, with the listing on RE/MAX Traders Unlimited saying that the site was ready for a “visionary new owner” to bring the now-vacated property back to life.

The listing said that the property had been completely gutted in order to provide a prospective new owner an opportunity to have a clean slate for a restaurant or other entertainment concept. They also note the potential for an owner to obtain a special-use permit that would allow for outdoor entertainment or a beer garden on the premises.
With over two acres at the site, there’s also enough green space to build a permanent patio or add a secondary building.
Sky Harbor closed in 2020, with COVID-19 restrictions and the poor health of the owners forcing the end of a popular, well-liked establishment. The restaurant had been operating out of the Park Road site since 1996 before closing, having moved from a location adjacent to General Wayne A. Downing Peoria International Airport.
The site eventually become home to High Harbor Cannabis Lounge and Event Center, which currently owns a portion of the property, according to Peoria County property records.
