Young person dies in tubing/personal watercraft incident at Beatty Bayou

LYNN HAVEN — On June 20, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and the Lynn Haven Police Department responded to a tubing incident involving a personal watercraft on Beatty Bayou.

According to the FWC, three young people were taken to the hospital. One person later died. Their ages were not provided.

The News Herald reached out to the Lynn Haven Police Department, but the agency didn’t have any additional information to add except to say this is an active investigation. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
