St. Johns County election results are in for local races

Krista Keating-Joseph has retained her seat on the St. Johns County Commission, and Martin Pyszczymuka will be the new commissioner, according to unofficial results from the St. Johns County Supervisor of Elections for the Aug. 18 primary elections.

Ashleigh Barnes easily defeated Ko Robbins and Cindy Golos-Guergaw for a spot on the St. Augustine City Commission. And there appears to be a runoff for St. Johns County School Board District 4 between Tammie McClafferty and Jillian Tozer.

Though County Commission races were partisan primaries, the winners face no candidates from other parties, so all St. Johns County voters could vote in the primaries.

Races for School Board, St. Augustine Commission and the 7th Judicial Circuit court are nonpartisan and also open to all voters.
