After days of delays due to nor-easter conditions in the Atlantic Ocean, SpaceX launched a batch of 24 Amazon Project Kuiper internet satellites.
The liftoff occurred 9:58 p.m. from Launch Complex 40 in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. No Brevard County sonic booms were heard, as the rocket’s booster landed on the A Shortfall of Gravitas drone ship out in the Atlantic Ocean.

The mission − referred to as KF-03 − marked the third time SpaceX has launched the Amazon Project Kuiper internet satellites atop a Falcon 9 rocket.
Meanwhile, the Space Coast received a preshow, as a 7:23 p.m. Starship launch from Starbase, Texas provided a ‘jellyfish effect’ in the skies over Florida.
Next up on the Florida launch schedule is the next batch of SpaceX Starlink internet satellites. The liftoff is set for no earlier than 2:42 a.m. Thursday, October 16 from Launch Complex 40 in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
