Pensacola man faces life in federal prison after pleading guilty to drug charges

A 33-year-old Pensacola man pleaded guilty to federal drug and firearms charges, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Florida John Heekin announced Nov. 14.

Jujuan George pleaded guilty to two counts of distribution of controlled substances, one count of possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute, one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense and one count of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon.

“Thanks to the excellent investigative work by our federal law enforcement partners, this offender’s drug trafficking enterprise has been dismantled and he has been stopped from continuing to flood our streets with deadly drugs,” Heekin said.

Unbeknownst to George, he sold cocaine and fentanyl to law enforcement officers during an undercover operation in May 2025, which led to a search warrant execution the following month at a Pensacola strip mall.

During the search, law enforcement discovered 285 grams of fentanyl along with methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, six firearms, ammunition and other “items indicative of drug distribution.”

George faces up to life in a federal prison, according to Heekin. He’s scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 13, 2026.
