Second-year wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter stole the show during Day 4 of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ training camp on Aug. 2 at the Miller Electric Center.
His workload was a bit more than what he’s had in camp in the first three days, and he responded by turning in two highlight-reel plays to the delight of the fans in attendance.
After catching one pass on a crossing pattern from Trevor Lawrence in his first 11-on-11 period, and a routine showing in a 7-on-7 period, Hunter unleashed his skills during the next 11-on-11 period, with two plays in particular coming within five snaps.
Hunter was involved in another play during the final 11-on-11 period of the day, but he lost this one. Mullens hit rookie CJ Williams on a corner route for a 20-yard touchdown, with Hunter trailing by a step-and-a-half.

Hunter had seven offensive plays and 10 defensive plays during 11-on-11 periods. He had two offensive plays and one defensive play in the Jags’ only 7-on-7 period of the day.

For the first four practices, Hunter has 22 offensive snaps and 34 defensive snaps in 11-on-11 and five offensive snaps and seven defensive snaps in 7-on-7. That brings his total to 27 on offense and 41 on defense.
Hunter has caught three passes, broken up three and intercepted one.
