LEESBURG — The Miss Leesburg royal court has been named this year — young women and girls who represent the city at events and parades with a pleasant personality and poise. They were crowned at Leesburg High School on Saturday, Sept. 6.

Representing the Lake County city in 2025-26, the new Miss Leesburg is Claire Carlton, 17, the daughter of Erin and Shane Carlton. She is a senior at First Academy Leesburg.
Her hobbies are competitive cheerleading, varsity softball and Wednesday youth group. She hopes to become an airline pilot for Southwest Airlines like her dad.
Teen Miss Ryleigh Mallory, 14, is in the 7th grade with Florida Virtual School. Her parents are Lindsey and Hunter Mallory.
Ryleigh’s hobbies are volleyball, horseback riding and volunteering. She aspires to be an entrepreneur, to own her own business and to be a mom.
Junior Miss Allison Waddell, 10, is a 5th grader at First Academy Leesburg. The daughter of Kaitlyn and Trey Waddell, Allison enjoys baking and playing soccer.
Fun fact: Allison raises and shows Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats. Her ambition is to be a dairy goat farmer.
Little Miss Leesburg, Zuri Spurlock, 9, is a fourth-grader at Treadway Elementary School. Her parents are April Boyer and Brandon Spurlock.
Zuri enjoys twirling baton, skating, bike riding and fishing with her “Papa.”
When Little Miss Leesburg thinks about what she’d like to do after high school, she says she wants to be an environmental attorney when she grows up.
Tiny Miss Leesburg Amzie Wilburth, 6, is in the first grade at First Academy and is the daughter of Kaylyn and Josh Wilburth.
Amzie enjoys dancing, hunting with her dad and boating with the family, and she already knows that she would like to be a doctor when she grows up.
Miss Leesburg wins a $5,000 cash scholarship to attend the college of her choice (made payable to the college).
Teen Miss will receive a $1,000 scholarship, and the three younger winners will receive $250 cash.
The Miss Leesburg Pageant was organized in 1986 and became the Miss Leesburg Scholarship Program in 1997 as a nonprofit educational youth program.
According to founder Linda Watts, the pageant selects local girls to represent their hometown as role models and to promote pride in the community by attending public events, meet and greets and providing volunteer work.
The pageant is held each year at Leesburg High School and is a fundraiser for the scholarship fund.
“On behalf of the City of Leesburg, we are proud of each of these young ladies,” Leesburg Mayor Alan Reisman said on Facebook. “We look forward to working with this new court and are confident they will be incredible ambassadors for our community.”
