FSU reserve LB to enter the transfer portal

Florida State will have one less player in the linebacker room next season. Jayden Parrish, who was a member of the 2024 recruiting class for the Seminoles, is entering the transfer portal.

Parrish simply couldn’t get on the field enough during his time in Tallahassee. He didn’t appear in any games in 2024, which led to him taking a redshirt year. Parrish saw the field in two games this season, but he only logged three tackles.

Florida State just signed a talented linebacker haul for 2026, highlighted by four-star prospect Izayia Williams and three-star Karon Maycock. So, it was a safe bet to say that Parrish would’ve had another uphill battle to see the field next year.

A product of Atlantic High School in Delray Beach, Florida, Parrish was rated as a three-star prospect. 247Sports composite rankings listed him as the No. 705 recruit nationally, the No. 61 linebacker, and the No. 94 prospect in Florida.
