The No. 8 Florida State Seminoles (3-0) released their first injury report ahead of Friday’s game against the Virginia Cavaliers (3-1, 1-0 ACC) on Thursday night.
FSU quarterback Tommy Castellanos is listed as probable after leaving last week’s game against Kent State after getting rolled up on. He said after the game that he was “perfectly fine,” and head coach Mike Norvell said during the week they thought it was “very manageable.”

He is one of 13 Seminoles to make the list, which includes six players who have been ruled out, three who are questionable, and four who are probable. Two other notable players to make the list are tight end Randy Pittman Jr. and freshman defensive lineman Kevin Wynn, who are probable and questionable, respectively.
Wynn missed the first three games of the season, but is expected to play a key role as a backup to Darrell Jackson Jr. at nose tackle once he is healthy. Pittman was excellent in FSU’s Week 1 game against Alabama, but underwent surgery shortly after and has not played since. They are both listed on FSU’s depth chart for the game after not appearing on it each of the last two games.
FSU’s game against Virginia is set to start Friday night at 7 p.m. ET in Scott Stadium. The game will be on ESPN and is FSU’s first ACC game of the season. Here is FSU’s full injury report. They will release an updated one on Thursday night and another one before kickoff on Friday.
