The Seminoles added former Kentucky commit Jordan Crutchfield and former South Carolina commit Amari Thomas on the same day.

Thomas (5-foot-10, 187 pounds), a 4-star running back ranked as the No. 61 overall player in the USA TODAY Florida Top 100, is up to 1,496 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns on 89 carries for undefeated Blountstown. He originally committed to FSU back in January but decommitted in July. He named the Gamecocks a little less than a month later.

The ‘Noles never gave up on the Blountstown native, and had him back on campus at least twice this fall. They completed the flip less than a week after his most recent unofficial visit.

Crutchfield (6-foot-3, 200 pounds), a 3-star safety and the No. 51 overall player in the USA TODAY Florida Top 100, has been lights-out for undefeated Vero Beach and is up to 27 tackles, 3.0 TFL, two PBU, an interception, a forced fumble, and 112 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns to boot.

He committed to Kentucky in June shortly after an official visit, but FSU got him to flip his pledge after hosting him for the win over Virginia Tech.

The duo join Gadsden County LB Daylen Green and Hillgrove (Ga.) EDGE Chris Carbin as new flips this month. The ‘Noles also landed a commitment from Bolle TE Corbyn Forham, who was committed to Ohio State since November of 2024.

FSU’s 2026 class is now the No. 14 team in 247Sports’ composite rankings.
