FSU extends offer to edge from Sweden

FSU is searching for answers at edge rusher for the 2026 cycle. They offered three-star LSU edge DeAnthony Lafayette a few days ago. On Saturday, they extended another, but this time it was to three-star Gustaf Ras out of Sweden.

Head coach Mike Norvell has been in contact with Ras since last week. After watching his film, it was defensive line coach Terrance Knighton that extended the offer to Ras.

Florida State is the 12th offer for Ras. He also has the Georgia Bulldogs, South Carolina Gamecocks, Ole Miss Rebels, and Texas A&M Aggies on his offer list as well.

Georgia, South Carolina, and Texas A&M have all hosted Ras for camps during the summer. He still hasn’t taken any visits yet to Tallahassee so that will certainly be something that FSU will need to look into soon.

Ras is the No. 2 prospect in Sweden and the No. 78 edge per 247Sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-4, 235-pounder is also the No. 875 overall recruit for the cycle.
