Francis Mauigoa picked by Giants in 2026 NFL draft: Scouting report for lineman

The New York Giants selected Miami Hurricanes offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa with the 10th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft on April 23.

The 6-foot-5 lineman was a three-year starter for the Hurricanes and will likely slot in as an immediate starter for New York. He has versatility to play as a guard, likely becoming an immediate starter along their line.

“I’m ready to die for you bro,” Mauigoa said shortly after being drafted when asked what his message to Jaxson Dart would be.

Francis Mauigoa scouting report

Mauigoa offers years of experience at right tackle with a powerful frame and very strong hands at 6-foot-6 and 325 pounds. His body control and anchor make him a great fit in pass protection. His footwork may ultimately move him inside to guard but he has a very high floor at either position with a mauling presence coaches would love in the run game.

How Francis Mauigoa fits with Giants

Mauigoa will be a protector for 2025 first-round pick Jaxson Dart. He’s expected to be an immediate starter and will bolster an offensive line that needs the help as Dart dealt with multiple concussions last season.
