Duce Robinson, Luke Petitbon named AP First-team All-ACC performers

Florida State didn’t have the campaign they wanted to in 2025. With that being said, there were some performers that stood out despite the season being a disappointment, and they have earned some immensely high praise.

On Monday, the All-ACC teams were announced via AP News. Two FSU players were named to the first-team. They were wide receiver Duce Robinson and center Luke Petitbon.

Robinson transfered to Florida State from USC, and he immediately showed why the program wanted him. Robinson finished with five games over 120 yards including a string three consecutive to start the month of November.

For the season, Robinson ended up leading the ACC with 1,081 receiving yards and his seven touchdown receptions were tied for second. He also ranked ninth in the nation in receiving yards and was named a Biletnikoff Award semifinalist last month.

The 6-foot-6, 223-pounder will have a decision to make after three years of collegiate football since he is eligible for the NFL draft. If FSU can somehow convince him to return, that would be a huge win for the program.

Petitbon also transferred to Florida State from Wake Forest. All he did was be an anchor for the Seminoles offensive line as he was the highest-graded player on the unit at 73.3 per Pro Football Focus. Also, he didn’t allow a single sack in 795 snaps.

For Petitbon, he has exhausted all of his college eligibility and will enter the NFL draft in April. He was only in Tallahassee for one season, but Petitbon was undoubtedly the best center that FSU has had since Bryan Stork who was a member of the 2013 national championship team.

Florida State had six other players who earned either second-team or honorable mention All-ACC honors by the conference. However, Robinson and Petitbon shined the brightest.
