“Kyle is an excellent lawyer and key contributor to our firm’s continued success,” said Michael J. Wilson, president of Williams Parker.

Elliott’s elevation to partner recognizes his outstanding legal skills, his commitment to client service and his deep ties to the Sarasota community.

He proudly serves as secretary on the board of directors of Habitat for Humanity Sarasota. His commitment to affordable housing is further exemplified by his contributions to Habitat Sarasota’s Hammock Place, a 24-acre affordable housing development.

He provided crucial legal services for this landmark project, including the formation of the Hammock Place Homeowners Association. He continues to provide ongoing real estate-related legal services for Habitat Sarasota, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to the organization’s mission.

James E. Fanto, an associate in Shumaker law firm’s Litigation & Disputes Service Line, has graduated from Leadership Sarasota, a foremost community leadership program hosted by the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce.

Graduating from Leadership Sarasota places Fanto among an accomplished group of professionals dedicated to driving meaningful change in the Sarasota community. His participation reflects Shumaker’s ongoing commitment to leadership, professional growth and community involvement.

Fanto focuses his legal practice on representing large financial institutions and high-net-worth individuals in complex securities litigation and contractual covenant disputes. His ability to navigate high-stakes litigation with precision and strategy has made him a trusted adviser to sophisticated clients across Florida and beyond.

Leadership Sarasota aims to develop leadership skills while providing participants with an in-depth understanding of the issues facing the Sarasota region, fostering relationships with local leaders and encouraging civic engagement.
