USC ranked No. 14 in preseason college football AP Poll

The 2026 college football season is almost here! One sign that the season is just around the corner is the release of the preseason AP Poll, which dropped on Monday morning. USC made the top 15 in the rankings, with the Trojans coming in at No. 14.

USC was actually tied with BYU in the poll, with both schools getting exactly 839 points. Hence, both teams received a No. 14 ranking, with the next team behind them being No. 16 Michigan.

The Trojans are set to face five preseason top 25 teams this season. USC will host No. 1 Ohio State, No. 2 Oregon, and No. 17 Washington, while visiting No. 6 Indiana and No. 18 Penn State. In addition, Notre Dame, who the Trojans notably will not face this year, came in at No. 4.

USC will kick off its 2026 season on August 29 at the Coliseum against San Jose State.
