San Bernardino County officials announced the recent opening of trout fishing season at Mojave Narrows Regional Park in Victorville.
Other parks that opened on Nov. 26 include Cucamonga-Guasti, Glen Helen, Prado and Yucaipa Regional Parks
Each regional parks will be open on Thanksgiving Day.
Each park received 830 pounds of trout plants, totaling a projected 4,150 pounds every week through the end of March.
Due to inclement weather that may occur on scheduled stocking days, the planned dates may change.
The lakes that are stocked are closed to fishing on stocking days, except for the lake at Prado Regional Park.
In order to fish at one of the county parks, the California Department of Fish & Wildlife requires a state fishing license for those age 16 and over.
