Kyren Williams did something in Week 11 no other RB has done against Seattle

The Los Angeles Rams’ offense didn’t perform as well as it usually did in Week 11 against the Seattle Seahawks, but still generated enough points to pull off the win. One area that did excel, though, was the running game led by Kyren Williams.

The Rams’ lead running back finished 91 rushing yards and a touchdown on just carries. While the efficiency was nice, William’s yardage total was actually the most allowed to a single running back this season by Seattle. Previously, no other running back had eclipsed 69 yards on the ground when Christian McCaffrey hit that number all the way back in Week 1.

As a team, the Seahawks were allowing just 90.67 yards per game heading into the Week 11 contest. Williams finished that around that number on his own, while the Rams finished with 119 total rushing yards.

Williams has had an incredible season in his fourth year with the team and first on his new contract. He’s yards per carry are up this season versus last season (4.7 in 2025 after 4.1 in 2024) despite four fewer carries per game on average.

Part of this can be attributed to improved efficiency as well as head coach Sean McVay’s decision to add Blake Corum to the running mix more this season. That’s given Williams more support and alleviate the pressure to tote the load for L.A.

However, the most compelling part of Williams’ game is his elusiveness this season. He already has 15 broken tackles on the year and avoided eight tackles entirely in Week 11, per Tru Media and Pro Football Focus. Williams looks the part of the franchise running back that the Rams paid him to be before the year, and he’ll play a crucial role in the Rams’ 2025 season the rest of the way.
