Pitbull hasn’t released new music in nearly a year, but he hasn’t been quiet. The Cuban singer just finished his “Party After Dark Tour” and is set to sail soon for a European summer tour. He will also make an appearance at Stagecoach Music Festival 2026.

BEST BETS

Monday, Nov. 24: Folk Bitch Trio at Pappy and Harriet’s

Folk: If folk music is your forte, then a trip to the lower Mojave Desert’s Pappy and Harriet’s venue may be in order. Just out with a debut album this summer, the trio of Australian high school friends embeds humor into their twangy songwriting.

Folk Bitch Trio formed five years ago, and its members – Gracie Sinclair, Jeanie Pilkington, and Heide Peverelle – embarked on their first worldwide tour last year, booking shows from the SXSW festival to support slots for the likes of Alex G, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Julia Jacklin and Courtney Barnett.

If you go: Doors are at 8 p.m., and the show starts at 9 p.m. with opener Alex Amen on Monday, Nov. 24. Pappy’s serves up delicious Western-style barbecue. Keep in mind that the kitchen closes at 9:30 p.m. on Mondays.

Saturday, Nov. 29: Jay Leno at Yaamava’ Resort & Casino

Comedy: The Highland casino is jam-packed with talent this fall. Catch the American television host, comedian, and writer Jay Leno live at Yaamava’ Resort & Casino for one of only three California tour dates.

Leno is performing stand-up comedy across the United States. Many shows are solo headline performances, but he is also teaming up with fellow comedian Arsenio Hall for several special appearances.

If you go: 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29. Tickets start at $41. Superfans can opt for a front row center seat for roughly $270, including taxes. yaamava.com/

Friday, Dec. 5: How the West Was Won in Palm Desert

Hip-hop: The iconic How the West Was Won festival is coming to the Acrisure Area in Palm Desert. Big names like Bone Thugs -N- Harmony, E-40, Warren G, Kurupt from Tha Dogg Pound, and more are booked to headline.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the hip-hop festival, which debuted in Irvine, California with The Game and Schoolboy Q as headliners.

If you go: Show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will be available at Ticketmaster and through the Ticketmaster Box Office at Acrisure Arena.

Saturday, Dec. 6: Legendary Hangover at Frogee’s Bar

Rock: Local live music that isn’t a cover band is hard to come by in the High Desert. Original bands play only once in a blue moon, which is why Legendary Hangover Band’s upcoming show is so important.

The newly formed alternative rock/ punk rock quartet will be hitting Frogee’s Bar. While the band does sneak in a few tribute tunes, friend of the band and groupie Gabriella Castilla told the Daily Press, Legendary Hangover is constantly writing and working on original songs.

If you go: 8 p.m. 21820 Highway 18, Apple Valley.
