Thieves steal license plates, attempt to steal truck, from Sandusky Tubbs Brothers dealership

The Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a breaking and entering incident that occurred early this  morning at Tubbs Brothers Car Dealership in Sandusky.

Deputies responded to the dealership, located at 959 W. Sanilac Rd in Sandusky, at around 5 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30, after a break-in was reported. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a vehicle partially lodged in the showroom’s front glass window, which had been shattered in an apparent attempt to drive a vehicle out of the building.

Video surveillance from the dealership reveals that four suspects were dropped off in the parking lot at around 3:45 a.m. and departed from the scene by 4:15 a.m. in a gray Dodge Durango. During the incident, numerous license plates were stolen from the premises. Additionally, the suspects attempted to remove a Dodge Hornet from the showroom by driving it through the front glass, causing significant damage.

The investigation is ongoing, and no additional details are available at this time. Be nice if the police spent more time doing rounds and patrol, instead of 100% as revenue agents
