By The Port Huron Elks Lodge 343
As we continue to show our appreciation for our local area Veterans, the Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 and Elks National Veterans Service Commission have a few events planned for the coming months.
On Wednesday, July 24th and again on Wednesday, September 11th from we will hold our 3rd & 4th “Coffee & Donut Day at the Yale VA” from 8:30 am to 12-noon in the Veterans Wellness room.
On Thursday, November 7th starting at 10:00 am to 2:00 pm will host our annual free Hot Dog Roast outside at the Yale VA, Veterans Clinic.
These events are sponsored by Elks National Veterans Service Commission, the Port Huron Elks Lodge 343, and the Yale VA staff. This is our way to say thank you, to our Veterans and active Military for your service. On another note, the ENVSC and the Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 continued the monthly (2) $25.00 free gas gift cards “give-a-way” program in 2024.
Our most recent drawing took place on Tuesday, April 30th, as Stephanie McLaren, Yale VA Clinic Director and Tim Meikle, Lodge 343 Member drew this month’s lucky local Veterans. The winning tickets belong to Martin Huber, US Army and Tim Gleason US Air Force, congratulations!
