Where Michigan basketball stands in March Madness bracket predictions

Michigan basketball has likely already locked up a No. 1 seed for the 2026 NCAA Tournament. But can it take the No. 1 overall seed?

The Wolverines have already won the Big Ten regular-season title and are one win away from locking up the Big Ten Tournament title, with the final against Purdue taking place on Sunday, March 15, at United Center in Chicago. After that comes the NCAA Tournament selection show, where the question of Michigan’s overall seeding will be answered.
