You might never hear a coach more frustrated after a 19-point win than Tom Izzo was on Thursday night after his team’s win over San Jose State. And he might have had a point. After dominating San Jose State in the first half, literally doubling their opponent’s scoring total, MSU was actually outscored in the second half, 37-33. Luckily, MSU gave themselves enough of a cushion to bear the surge by SJS, but it wasn’t exactly what Izzo was hoping to see against a Mountain West opponent who has yet to win a game this season.
