For the second series in a row, the Detroit Pistons look comfortable in the face of elimination.
The Pistons beat the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday, May 15, in Game 6, 115-94, at Rocket Arena in Cleveland. The Pistons surged ahead with a 14-4 run to start the third quarter and continued pulling away down the stretch. Detroit got contributions from up and down the roster with six double-digit scorers. Cade Cunningham led with 21 points and eight assists.
The win forced a winner-take-all Game 7 on Sunday at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. Sunday’s winner will face the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference finals with Game 1 on Tuesday.
