Want to celebrate Veterans Day in Gaylord? Here’s what to know

The Ralph Holewinski VFW Post 1518 in Gaylord has a full schedule planned for Veterans Day on Tuesday, Nov. 11. 

Here is what will be available:

Middle school program

There will be a Veterans Day program at Gaylord Middle School. Veterans will first be able to enjoy cinnamon rolls and coffee at 8:15 a.m., with the program starting at 9 a.m. 

Veterans can call and RSVP by calling Gaylord Middle School at 989-731-0848. 

Veterans Day Ceremony

There will be a formal Veterans Day Ceremony at the Otsego County War Memorial at 11 a.m. 

The guest speaker will be U.S. Army veteran Michael Wickson. 

Message of Thanks Luncheon

A special Message of Thanks Luncheon will be available to local veterans at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, 515 S. Wisconsin Ave. 

Lunch will be provided from 12-2:30 p.m. Seats are limited. You can RSVP by calling 989-217-0399.
