A $1 million Powerball prize expires in December if the winner doesn’t come forward by 4:45 p.m. Christmas Eve, according to the Michigan Lottery officials.
The Dec. 24, 2025, winning ticket was sold at a Kroger store in Howell, according to the lottery. Tickets are valid for one year from the drawing date.
The ticket’s winning numbers were 04, 25, 31, 52, 59; the red Powerball was 19, and the Power Play multiplier was 2.
If the prize expires, the full amount will go to the School Aid Fund as required by state law.
